Vintage English bone china His & Hers teacups and saucers with rose design made by Royal Albert.
Thomas C. Wild bought the Albert Works in Longton, Stoke on Trent in 1895. This factory had been named after Prince Albert, Queen Victoria's Consort. It specialised in tea, breakfast and dessert pieces with floral designs, and it soon gained a reputation of producing beautiful china tea & breakfast sets, firmly establishing the Royal Albert name.
The back stamp on these pieces indicate that they were produced in the 1970s or 1980s. These sets are in undamaged, good condition with some slight surface marks and a little wear on the gold due to usage. The photographs are a part of the description.
