Began studying jade carving in Taipei in 1988. Enrolled in the Advertising Design program at vocational high school in 1993, integrating design concepts into his work. Established his personal studio in 1994. Received an Honorable Mention in the Craft category at the 14th Nan Ying Art Exhibition in 2000 for "Waiting for the Right Moment." Participated in a joint jade exhibition at the Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall in August. Invited to the Hualien International Art Festival for live carving in the local creation zone in 2001. Received an Honorable Mention at the 10th Taiwan Craft Design Competition, "Dream of Craft," in January. Participated in a joint jade exhibition at the Hsinchu County Cultural Bureau. Participated in the "Flowers and Trees Carnival" jade exhibition at the Luoxi Stone Inkstone in Changhua County in May. Invited by the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Cultural Foundation and Hualien Cultural Affairs Bureau for the "Grand View of Stones" exhibition, held in department stores across Northern, Central, and Southern Taiwan from October to January 2005. Invited by the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute to exhibit works such as "Lotus Ecological Charm" at the "Taitung Local Crafts Exhibition" in the Presidential Office in 2003. Featured in the National Education Radio's "Arts and Culture Corridor - Xie Zhong-Ren Jade Stone Carving Exhibition" from March to June 2004. Received an Honorable Mention at the 12th Taiwan Craft Design Competition, "Dream of Craft." Held a solo exhibition at the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall from October to January 2005. Invited by the National Taiwan Museum to exhibit his indigenous carving work, "Taiwanese Snacks - Braised Pork Rice," in 2005. Participated in the "Sherlock Holmes: A Thousand Faces Exhibition" with the National Museum of the Czech Republic from June to September. Established the "Yu Ning Shi" brand and opened a counter in department stores. Participated in the "Crafts Master" exhibition at Pacific Sogo Department Store in mid-December. Invited by the National Taiwan Craft Research Institute to participate in the "Craftsmanship at Your Fingertips - Application of Living Crafts Exhibition" at the Executive Yuan Art Gallery in 2007. His work "Japanese-Style Sushi" was selected for the "Taiwan Craft Competition" hosted by the National Taiwan Craft Research Institute in 2008. In 2012, his work "Half-Thought" received an honorable mention in the Traditional Craft category at the "Taiwan Craft Competition" hosted by the Ministry of Culture and the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute. His work "Quiet Mountain and Water" received an honorable mention in the Craft category at the 21st Tainan City "Nan Ying Award." Invited to exhibit in the "Gathering of Taiwanese Jade Carving Masters" exhibition at the Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall in 2013, showcasing his work in the Master Jade Carving Artists section. Invited by the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute to exhibit works including "Japanese-Style Sushi," "Handmade Mochi," and "Leaping Moment" at the "Reunion - Sustainable Craftsmanship Exhibition" in the Presidential Office Art Gallery in 2016, alongside other Taiwanese craft masters. His work "Lingering Lotus in Spring" received an honorable mention at the Taoyuan City Taoyuan Art Exhibition in 2017. Held his solo exhibition, "Xie Zhong-Ren Jade Carving 30 Years: The Continuation of Culture," at the Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall in 2018. Invited by the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute to exhibit his work "Auspicious Dragon Presents Blessings" at the "Feast · Happiness" exhibition in the Presidential Office Art Gallery from January to June 2019. His work "Japanese-Style Sushi" was exhibited in the "Joyful Heart, Artistic Brilliance - Taiwan Craft Development Association Boutique Exhibition," held concurrently at the Hsinchu County Cultural Affairs Bureau (July 29 - August 16, 2020) and the Taipei Dangdai Contemporary Craft Design Branch of the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute (October 6, 2020 - February 28, 2021). His work "Japanese-Style Sushi" was featured in the "Creative Regeneration Green Crafts" exhibition hosted by the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute from October to November 2021. His work "Handmade Mochi" was selected for the 2021 Taiwan Craft Competition and toured various locations, including the Taipei Dangdai Contemporary Craft Design Branch of the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute, Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Xinyi A11, Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Tainan Ximen Store, and Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Taichung Store. **Important Notes** ※ Color discrepancies may occur due to variations in screen displays.
