AVENA Lime Essential Oil

Lime essential oil has antispasmodic properties making it good for coughs and colds caused by congestion of the throat and chest. Used in an oil burner, a few drops in the bath or blended as a massage oil or cream it is a good sedative for nerves, tension or anxiety, aids relaxation and as well as being a lovely air freshener on its own will help with respiratory problems, catarrh and sinusitis. Lime is also good for the skin, muscles and joints. The therapeutic properties of lime oil include antiseptic, astringent, bactericidal, disinfectant, febrifuge, haemostatic, restorative and tonic. Aroma: sharp, sweet and citrus. Note: do not use before exposure to sunshine or a sun bed, may cause irritation to sensitive skin.
