Kitsunebi, or foxfire, is an inexplicable phenomenon where strange lights appear in a line, resembling lanterns or torches, in places with no source of flame. These lights flicker on and off, and sometimes disappear only to reappear elsewhere. It is said that if one tries to investigate their origin, the lights will always vanish before they can be discovered. Theories about their true nature vary; some suggest it's the glow from a fox's breath, others that foxes create fire by striking their tails together, or that a mystical orb called the "kitsunebi-dama" (foxfire orb) possessed by the fox emits the light. Shrines dedicated to Inari are called Inari shrines. In Shinto shrines, the vermilion torii gate and the white fox, considered a divine messenger, are widely recognized symbols. Thus, we have chosen red bronze for the torii gate, silver (SILVER925) for the fox, and brass for the kitsunebi. The dimensions of the torii gate are 30mm in height and 36mm in width. The chain length is 50cm. Origin/Craftsmanship: Made in Japan, Handmade.
