|**Design**|
This cropped shirt reinterprets the traditional shirt design with a fresh, deconstructed approach. The collar and placket have been reworked to reveal an elegant cutout on the right collarbone, showcasing a sense of space and layers between the skin, while subtly echoing the cutout detail on the left shoulder. The sleeves continue the season's theme, incorporating elements of kimono sleeves to infuse the classic shirt with Eastern charm and soft strength. A tie belt at the waist adds versatility, allowing the wearer to cinch the waist for a streamlined effect or leave it loose for a more relaxed, flowing silhouette, enhancing the outfit's adaptability.
The print this season is inspired by Japanese Sengoku period family crests (Kamon) and incorporates cranes from the folk tale "The Grateful Crane," arranged into a unique new pattern. The fabric features a classic dark palette, with touches of red and blue, combining modernity with traditional elements for a distinctive visual impression. Whether paired with high-waisted trousers for a sleek, tailored look or with a soft skirt to highlight an elegant vibe, this piece effortlessly adapts to various occasions, perfectly blending practicality with style.
|**Inspiration**|
The collection drew inspiration from Kabuki culture, a group known for their extravagant attire and unconventional behavior during Japan's late Sengoku period. These individuals, referred to as "Kabukimono," shaped contemporary pop culture with their bold and unconventional lifestyle. Reflecting on the present, fashion continues to be driven by innovation and rebellion, INF wants to invite everyone to become modern-day Kabukimono.
The clothing structure draws on traditional Japanese silhouettes, such as haori, hakama, and jinbei, as the foundation, and deconstructs them with modern pieces like suits and shirts. Designs like kimono bomber jackets and jinbei suits strike a perfect balance between vintage and innovation. In line with INF’s ongoing commitment to sustainability, the collection uses the highest-quality materials and tailored designs, allowing the garments to adapt to various occasions, reducing waste and fashion excess. As designer Kuo Wei puts it: "We aim to prevent waste before it happens, enhancing the brand's sustainability impact."
