The Star/Gold Ball series (hereinafter referred to as "Star") was produced around the 1980s-1990s. The entire Star series is rare yet highly sought after within CELINE vintage. Both the bags and various accessories from this collection are scarce and command a significant price! This is because the original production volume for this series was quite limited. The iconic gold balls are intricately engraved with raised and textured stars, and within these stars, there are even subtle patterns! It's incredibly exquisite! Most importantly, all the "Star" elements are made of genuine K-gold plating! The bag clasps can be broadly categorized into half-sphere, rotating, and three-dimensional designs, with the latter being the most valuable. In the past, CELINE offered a vast array of clasp designs. Even with the same "clasp shape," there were numerous variations in bag styles and clasp mechanisms (truly a golden era...). There is only one chain indentation on the upper right back of the bag, caused during storage. The indented area has a slight color mark, but it's not obvious and only visible when viewed from an angle. The Japanese service indicated this was a result of a cleaning mishap. Aside from the flaw on the back, the entire bag is free of other defects and shows no signs of use, as it is an unused display item. The bottom, sides, and corners show no wear, scuffs, scratches, or peeling. Even the very tips of the corners are completely free of wear. The interior leather lining has no stickiness, powdering, scuffs, scratches, or peeling, and is extremely clean. The small zipper runs smoothly. The brand leather tag is intact. The gold chain is not original; the bag did not come with a chain when acquired from Japan, so I have added a twisted rope chain. It can be worn on the shoulder or crossbody. When folded, it can be shortened to an underarm bag, or the chain can be removed entirely for use as a clutch, offering four carrying options.
