The dazzling Tianmu glaze, mastered by Teacher Yeh, who has dedicated decades to glaze research, is a testament to precise control over fire, earth, and glaze. Every detail of the texture and the overall ambiance of the vessel is meticulously managed to achieve such exquisite Tianmu teacups. Historically, Tianmu teacups have been highly sought after by scholars and literati. In ancient times, due to numerous uncontrollable factors, generations of potters poured their hearts and souls into the pursuit of a perfect Tianmu piece, dedicating their entire lives to the craft. Today, advancements in technology have brought many variables in Tianmu firing under control, yet it remains an exceptionally challenging and difficult type of ceramic to master.
