Using a pen or pencil, mark the back of your heel and the point furthest forward on your foot (note: this is not always your longest toe). Measure the distance between these two points on your foot with a ruler (allow for a ±0.5 cm difference). This measurement is your foot's length. Add an extra 0.5-1.2 cm to your foot's length (for ideal looseness) to determine your ideal shoe size.
