The natural physical phenomenon of cracks in solid wood Since solid wood grows naturally, each piece of wood will have a different surface depending on the environment in which it grows and the supply of nutrients. Wood with tree eyes, scars, holes, and knots are all signs of nature, which are also the characteristics of solid wood furniture. Solid wood has natural pores, which may crack due to climate change, thermal expansion and contraction. This phenomenon may not necessarily occur, but the possibility cannot be ruled out. This fine cracking will stabilize after the furniture is made and used for a full four seasons. Wooden products (solid wood) will have natural color changes and even fine lines and cracks due to the time and degree of use. These are all natural phenomena. In terms of maintenance, in addition to not using blunt or hard objects to exert force on wooden products to avoid causing damage to the appearance and affecting structural safety, wooden products must also be kept away from direct sunlight and high-temperature objects placed directly on wooden products to prevent damage to the wood and veneer.
