Locket Pendant ~ Planisphere ~

A locket-style necklace inspired by a planisphere. A planisphere is a special star chart used to identify stars by adjusting the date and direction. Many people may remember using one in science class. This “map of the night sky” has been enclosed inside a locket pendant and crafted into a wearable necklace. A citrine stone represents the North Star at the center of the sky. The inner star chart uses luminous pigment, allowing it to glow softly in the dark. The rotating disc allows you to set the desired date and time; once aligned, simply close the lid and use it as a planisphere. Two bail positions are provided so you can wear it in your preferred orientation. Perfect for astronomy lovers. How to Use: Open the lid and align the month (on the disc) with the time (on the case). Close the lid and face the direction you want to observe.
