An elegant long-tailed bird with a distinctive tuft of white over its eyes. Gray overall with darker wings and an orange belly. Typically inhabits mountain forests but will descend to foothills and lowlands. Often seen in large numbers at flowering or fruiting trees; otherwise, usually in smaller groups. Song includes a series of rapid whistles followed by a longer, more drawn-out phrase. Elements extracted from original hand-painted watercolor paintings, handmade pieces.
