Flipping the reeds reverses this flow and disrupts the established capillary action. While this may release surface fragrance momentarily, it will subsequently weaken and destabilize the diffusion. Furthermore, reed sticks can become gradually clogged by airborne dust and fragrance oil over time. Therefore, we recommend replacing the reeds when the diffusion effect decreases to maintain stable scent dispersal.
