This process cleanses the bead surface of any wax layer or impurities and re-polishes it. 2. Alternating Care: Alternate between a week of dedicated care and a week of rest. This allows the natural oils from the beads to oxidize and form a patina. The purpose of this step is to allow the secreted oils to oxidize and gradually form a beautiful patina. 3. Clean Hands: Ensure your hands are clean and dry during the care process. Slightly sweaty hands are ideal, as perspiration and natural skin oils help to evenly penetrate every corner of the beads, aiding in the formation of a finer patina. After a period of care, the beads will develop an initial patina. At this stage, allow them to rest again for a period to let the patina harden. 5. Repetition: Repeat the cycle of care and rest. Gradually increase the duration of each care session. The patina on the surface of the beads will become thicker, and the color will deepen over time. Additionally, avoid contact with water. If accidentally exposed to water, dry immediately with a soft cloth and place in a cool, ventilated area to air dry naturally.
