Kutani-yaki (Japanese: Kutani Yaki/くたにやきKutani-yaki) is one of the classifications of Japanese porcelain. It is a colored porcelain produced in Kanazawa, Komatsu, Kaga and Nomi in the southern part of Ishikawa Prefecture.
Gorgeous color painting is the biggest feature of Kutani ware. Five colors of red, green, purple, yellow and blue are used as the main glaze colors, among which red color is rarely used, and green, green and yellow are the main ones. Its painted composition styles can be divided into the following types, namely, dyed painting, green hand (painted hand), colored painting (multicolored hand) and red painting (golden hand).
