Distinguishing Features of Lin Han-Wei's White Porcelain Seals: 1. A pioneering fusion of gold detailing and natural precious stone inlay. Some gemstones are fired together with the porcelain, creating a seamless, integrated piece – a first in Taiwan. 2. Drawing from her experience at FAZON Fine Arts & Crafts' headquarters and its Jingdezhen factory, Lin Han-Wei blends underglaze colors with gold detailing (fired gold). The gold detailing uses German Heraeus gold liquid, hand-painted and fired (containing 12% pure gold, finished at 800°C), imbuing the seal with rich color and dimension, establishing a modern seal engraving style. 3. Fired at a high temperature of 1230°C, these porcelain seals possess exceptional hardness and wear resistance, ensuring they will never wear down once fired, making them significantly more durable than stone. The underglaze colors are fired permanently, ensuring they never fade, while the porcelain glaze is as smooth and luminous as jade. 4. Unlike traditional seals, the design of our porcelain seals is not limited by the seal knob. The entire form is integrated, offering modern and diverse styles that are exquisitely crafted and highly favored across different groups. They can be customized for personal use, company names, collections, decorative purposes, couples, or even with imagery, making them ideal as personalized gifts. 5. Each porcelain seal is entirely handmade, involving a meticulous process from clay molding, refining, cleaning, air-drying, engraving, inlaying, biscuit firing, applying underglaze colors, high-temperature glaze firing, to the final gold detailing firing. Each seal undergoes at least 3-4 firings, with each firing requiring a kiln process of at least 10 hours, followed by cooling. The intricate and time-consuming process takes approximately three to four weeks to complete. 6. Because the porcelain seal is an integrated piece, any damage to the engraving during the process requires starting anew.
