Features of Lin Hanwei's white porcelain seals:
1. It is the first to combine gold painting and natural colored gemstone inlay. Some Gemstone are resistant to high temperatures and fired together with the porcelain seal to form an integrated whole. This is the first of its kind in Taiwan. 2. Lin Hanwei's experience working at the Franz Joseph Corporation and the Franz Joseph Jingde Factory allowed him to combine white porcelain seals with underglaze color and gilding (gilding). The gilding was done by hand-painting with German Heraeus gold water (containing 12% real gold and fired at 800 degrees), making the porcelain seals themselves more colorful and varied, achieving a modern seal carving porcelain seal style. 3. The porcelain seal is fired at a high temperature of 1230 degrees, and its hardness and wear resistance are extremely high. Once the seal is fired, it will never wear out. It is much harder than other stones! The porcelain is fired under glaze color and will never fade. The porcelain glaze is as white as jade, exquisite and bright.
4. The shape of porcelain seals is not limited to the form of seal buttons. The overall shape is integrated and the style is modern and diverse. It is exquisite and delicate, and is loved by different ethnic groups. It can be customized into private seals, name seals, company seals, collection seals, casual seals, lovers' seals, wedding seals, image seals, etc., which are very suitable for customized gifts.
5. Each porcelain seal is entirely handmade, from clay modeling, refined embryo body, embryo washing, shade drying, seal carving, inlaying, bisque firing, underglaze color, high-temperature glaze firing, and gilding firing. Each porcelain seal is fired at least 3 to 4 times. Each firing must go through at least 10 hours of kiln firing, and then wait for the temperature to cool down before being taken out. The production process of each porcelain seal is complicated, time-consuming and labor-intensive, and the production time is about three to four weeks. 6. Since the shape of the porcelain seal is integrated, if the strokes are damaged during the engraving process, the entire seal has to be redone. Therefore, the difficulty and risk of making porcelain seals are extremely high, which makes each porcelain seal even more precious.
