It's recommended to establish a routine for crystal purification, perhaps on the 1st of each month or during the full moon (the 15th day of the lunar calendar). There are numerous ways to purify crystals; detailed explanations can be found in books and online. While soaking in saltwater is a commonly mentioned method, it can damage certain delicate crystals and metals. Therefore, I personally__do not recommend soaking in saltwater__. If you have white/amethyst chips, geodes, or clusters, you can place your crystals directly within or on top of them when not in use. Of course, these purification chips, geodes, and clusters also require regular cleansing. For example, they can be purified through sun exposure or moonlight. Personally, I find__smudging to be the most effective__! You can light palo santo, dried cedar leaves, dried sage leaves, or incense, and__use the smoke for purification__.
