Washi tapes are opaque. 3/ PET tapes feature white ink, making them less transparent than washi tapes. 4/ PET tapes offer some water resistance, whereas washi tapes are not waterproof. 5/ PET tapes with special oil finishes appear brighter overall, while the special oil finish on washi tapes offers more depth and layers.
