This is a necklace strung with Afghan parts and ethnic bells, Roman glass and Bohemian beads, gooseberries, Indian silver, amethyst, colorful brass, and blue & indigo blue beads. The softly curved parts are from Afghanistan. These are old items that were used in ethnic clothing and accessories. They are rare parts with floral patterns and delicate craftsmanship. (Afghan part size: 2.2cm length, 1.4cm width) The bells are from the Kuchi tribe. They were used as decorative items and are also old pieces. The long, thin beads are Roman glass. Roman glass dates back to the Roman Empire era (27 BC - 395 AD). The tubular ones were made from bangles, so they have a slight curve. As they are old, there are small chips, but they are fine for regular use. The clear, oval beads are early 20th-century Bohemian beads. They have scratches from age, but these only add to their wonderful atmosphere! (Bohemian bead size: 0.8cm width, 0.65cm height - for those near the top) The striped beads are called gooseberries. These are antique beads from Venice (19th-20th century). They are named this because they resemble gooseberries. As they are deadstock items, they have few scratches and are in very good condition.
