These are earrings connecting Afghan metal, lush ethnic bells, Herkimer diamonds, and blue antique beads. The softly curled metal pieces arrived from Afghanistan. They are vintage items previously used in ethnic clothing and accessories. These rare pieces feature intricate designs reminiscent of flowers and delicate craftsmanship. (Afghan piece size: Height 2.2cm, Width 1.4cm) The bells are from the Kuch people, also vintage items used as ornaments. Four tiny Herkimer diamonds are clustered like fruit on each earring. The blue beads are antique beads known as Indopacific beads. The origins of Indopacific beads are said to date back to the 2nd century BC. These particular beads are unearthed artifacts from Indonesia, dating back to the 10th century – over 1000 years old! They are nestled between Karen silver with 18k gold plating.
