The inlay technique is inspired by early church mosaic glass, later refined by Italian artists. It utilizes the properties of copper and tin to combine glass in various forms. This is the method used to craft our flower pots: After cutting the glass, each edge is wrapped with copper foil and then tinned. The tin solder creates a sturdy bond, and the seams are meticulously filled to a smooth, rounded finish. An oxidizing agent is then used to blacken the tin solder, adding depth and a sophisticated texture to the overall piece. Flower pot dimensions: 7.5x7.5x12.5cm These dimensions have been tested and refined to achieve the optimal golden ratio. The base is made of mirror, which can absorb and reflect natural light, making the flower pot appear to glow on its own. It also looks beautiful with dried flowers.
