The dyeing team simulated the natural changes of corrosion, dissolution, and precipitation that occur over decades within mineral caves, resulting in a deep, dark green hue. What makes this acid-washed fabric special is its ability to develop a strong vintage aesthetic, revealing a shimmering Blue Copper ore (mineral green) color within a deep indigo, creating a truly stunning effect. It requires soaking to remove the starch. Here are a few methods for denim care beginners; feel free to message us with any questions. Keep ‘Em Rigid (Original Starch Method): This method means "no washing." By avoiding washing, the starch remains, and there will be no shrinkage due to water exposure, preserving the denim's raw, rugged spirit. Hot Water Soak Starch Removal (2-3% Shrinkage): Soak in approximately 40°C hot water for 40 minutes. Do not spin dry or sun dry. Wear the jeans when they are about 90% dry, and let them air dry in a cool place afterward. Room Temperature Water Soak Starch Removal (Less Shrinkage): Soak in room temperature water for 40 minutes. Hang to drip dry (inside out). Do not spin dry or sun dry. Wear the jeans directly, and let them air dry in a cool place afterward. Aggressive Starch Removal (Maximum Shrinkage): Use this method if the size is too large. Machine wash once in room temperature water, spin dry once, and air dry in a cool place. (The degree of starch removal is proportional to the water temperature.) Jeans will remain stiff after starch removal, so it's recommended to wear them when they are about 90% dry to avoid them becoming too tight. Don't worry if they feel a bit snug at first; they will gradually conform to your body shape and become comfortable after a period of wear. Shrinkage can vary depending on the brand, conditions, and individual handling.
