It is embellished with short, small fibers, giving it a look similar to that of a clay wall and a unique flavor that cannot be found in other papers. Interestingly, this paper also has a soft and light texture. After many years, the handwriting reminds you that the person who wrote it and the time in which it was written did exist. That is one of the reasons why we value the culture of letter-writing. As a child, we learnt dinosaurs became extinct 65 million years ago. However, according to current theories, all birds alive today are survivors of theropods, a clade of the dinosaur. We designed this series being inspired by that fact and hoping the culture will also last as long as human activity continues. **About nandaka** A Chiba(Japan)-based letter stationery brand created by Hitomi Kikuta and Taishi Hori. The name of the brand, nandaka is a Japanese word for somehow. “Somehow I got the feeling to write a letter” We aim to create products which make you feel like that.
