I decided to make the same model as the design of the 6th rock glass, so I started to adjust it. The basic work is a design that allows you to fully enjoy the color of the beverage. I used another design to show the color through the cut, but it looks a little mosaic from the top of the cut, so I thought I had to devise a way to truly enjoy the color of the beverage. To make it look completely clear instead of mosaic ・ Rubbing the sides of the glass flat with a flat surface ・ I thought there were only two ways to rub the sides round with a curved blade. After identifying the advantages and disadvantages of these two methods and comparing them, we decided to rub the bottom of the glass with a flat blade called a flat blade. In order not to make the design too close to the original, the upper part is cut around the chrysanthemum joint, which is a traditional pattern, and tightened with a ring to create a traditional Kiriko-like and luxurious feeling. Also, instead of cutting completely into a strip along the squares, I adjusted the intersection of the chrysanthemums to slightly protrude into the valley of the flat openwork to create a sense of unity. Since the colored part is almost cleared, the work man-hours are considerably higher than other products. The price is relatively high, but I think it's worth it. The bottom chrysanthemums and chrysanthemums connected with chrysanthemums are very auspicious with the meanings of longevity, disease-free breathing, evil spirits, nobility, and integrity. All the works with chrysanthemums have a high-class feel. The bottom is cut from the bottom chrysanthemum with 16 leaves. When viewed through the flat part, the bottom emerges as a virtual image of light and looks double. Chrysanthemum connection is a cut that requires a sense that cannot be cut by effort alone. This very difficult pattern can only be cut by an experienced Edo Kiriko craftsman, so it is also a proof of that. The Kiriko of our workshop is polished using the traditional method of Edo Kiriko, "hand polishing", which maintains the strength of the glass and finishes it with high quality. On the other hand, there are some things in the world that polish the glass while immersing it in an acid called "acid polishing" and melting the entire glass into pieces. Acid-polished ones have the disadvantages of being easily scratched and the color may fade, but since the man-hours can be reduced and the price can be sold at a low price, sales will improve, so many workshops and writers perform acid-polishing. We are here. Since the cut surface of our workshop is polished one by one, the original strength of the glass is not lost, and you can wash it with a detergent or scrubbing brush.
