In the long course of life, we are all familiar with writing words that convey understanding and polite exchanges.
But here, you are free to write to your heart's content. The blank pages know no bounds; cast aside worries about logic or neatness of handwriting, doodle and revise as you please, and write with pure, unrestrained expression.
Freedom settles from solitude, bringing the inner monologue into the mountains, to be revealed on the blank pages.

Chiu Chen-nan—〈Eternal Life of Heaven and Earth〉
This work emphasizes the vitality and sustainability of nature, and the flow of time within all things. It captures the changes in life, including different stages such as growth, aging, and regeneration.
Lao Tzu's *Tao Te Ching*, Chapter 7: "Heaven is eternal and Earth endures. The reason Heaven and Earth can be eternal and endure is that they do not live for themselves; hence they can long endure." This inspired Chiu Chen-nan's contemplation of the beauty of nature and the passage of time, leading to the highest realm of aesthetic life—selflessness and altruism. This series of works engages in a dialogue with mountains, rivers, nature, and all things under heaven. Through rich colors and ink washes, it presents the eternity and change of the natural world.
The essence of the universe's operation is effortless governance. It does not revolve around becoming heaven or earth, but follows the laws of nature, creating a space that accommodates the flow of time and the changes of all things. Just as nature is constantly transforming and all things are endlessly generated, our life's circumstances are also in a state of perpetual change.
