Introduction to tinware: (tea rules)
Tin is a precious metal that can purify water and is completely non-toxic and harmless to the human body. Starting from the most primitive piece of tin, through the process of casting plates, pattern cutting, forging various textures and shapes, and finally finishing and polishing, craftsmen give each piece of tin a unique soul through pure and direct manual techniques. Appearance.
In ancient times, tin was a precious metal with the same value as silver and gold, and was often used in precious utensils and objects. However, in modern times, due to the advancement of mining technology, the price of tin has become more acceptable compared with gold and silver.
Cleaning and maintenance of tinware: (Tea Rules)
• For cleaning after normal use, you can use a sponge dipped in dishwashing detergent or soap. However, do not use hard cleaning tools such as vegetable cloth or steel wool, which may leave scratches on the surface.
• Avoid placing tinware in places with high temperatures above 140℃ and low temperatures of -5℃ (such as freezers).
• Please avoid contact with acidic and alkaline chemicals, which may cause oxidation and discoloration.
• If you accidentally come into contact with acidic and alkaline chemicals and cause oxidation and discoloration, or if there are some small scratches due to long-term use, you can use the maintenance and cleaning flannel provided by our studio to wipe it back to its luster.
• If tin products are not used for a long time and are exposed to the air, they will undergo slight oxidation. This is normal and does not affect normal functions. If you want to preserve tin products more properly, it is recommended to store them in a cabinet or box when not in use. This will prevent them from oxidizing for a long time ( If it is slightly oxidized, it can still be restored according to the above maintenance methods).
Bronze care: (tea needles, tea pillows)
• Copperware will change the appearance of the material depending on the environment in which it is used. Just be careful to avoid contact with acidic and alkaline substances.
• If the copperware is worn on the body and sweats easily in summer, it may be slightly oxidized and turn black. You can remove the copperware and wipe it with the care flannel provided by the studio. Then wear it again when there is no sweating. Wearing it will solve this problem.
• The copperware in our studio has not been electroplated or dyed, so it can be used for a long time and is not easily damaged. As long as you have a basic understanding of the characteristics of Bronze, copperware is a souvenir that can accompany you for a lifetime.
