Krasnogorsk cameras produced since 1965 and were presented by different models, similar in common, from just Krasnogorsk up to latest Krasnogorsk-4 . First generation includes Krasnogorsk (1965-1974) & Krasnogorsk -2 cameras (1966-1977). It was same, but came with different lenses, with 3 lenses or with single zoom lens. Next kind of camera, Krasnogorsk-3 has been adopted by many film schools, including the University of Southern California's School of Cinema and Television. Its low price, rugged construction and sophisticated optics have made it very popular with both beginning filmmakers and professionals.
