Fine-grained white clay that makes the glaze color stand out. A light blue glaze with soft, vibrant colors and beautiful fine crackling. This small bowl is created by combining these elements into a four-leaf clover shape. The gentle colors and soft curves of its form result in a vessel that evokes a sense of tranquility. With its moderate depth, this small bowl can comfortably hold dishes with a bit of liquid. Ideal for dressed vegetables, simmered dishes, Japanese side dishes, or tofu creations. The creation process involves preparing the clay, shaping, bisque firing, glazing, and final firing, all entirely by hand in a home studio equipped with a small electric kiln and a potter's wheel. While mass production is not possible, each piece has its own unique character, offering the distinct charm of handmade craftsmanship. As the glaze color and form vary subtly between each piece, detailed descriptions are provided in the final product images. If stock permits, you may have the option to choose your preferred item. The base of the bowl will be sanded smooth before delivery. We continuously explore new combinations of glazes and clays, creating a diverse range of pottery in various colors and shapes. For this reason, we apply a water-blocking treatment to all our tableware with a food-safe sealant before shipping, so no initial "seasoning" (me-doki) is required. This treatment takes 2-3 days to complete, which is why our shipping timeframe is set at 5 days from order placement. If you prefer not to have the water-blocking treatment applied, please notify us at the time of purchase. - Cutlery shown in product images is not included. - We strive to photograph and edit product images to accurately represent the actual items. However, colors may appear differently depending on your monitor settings and lighting conditions.
