💎 Regarding rhinestone (Rhinestone) jewelry: It is important to understand that with age, rhinestones can become clouded, dull, or the metal backing may discolor. There might also be loss of foil within the rhinestone, leading to apparent dark spots or a dirty appearance. These conditions are unavoidable, even with high-end brands. Therefore, if these aspects concern you, we recommend reconsidering the purchase of vintage rhinestone jewelry.
Before You Purchase:
💚 Please message us to communicate if you have any questions before buying.
💚 Please have a shared understanding that jewelry from the 1940s-1980s may exhibit metal fading, discoloration, or minor rust spots and imperfections.
💚 We will do our best to clearly present items through photographs on the listing page. We kindly ask that you carefully inspect the images and descriptions.
💚 Vintage jewelry, by its nature, is an item with age and has been touched by time. It will absolutely show signs of wear.
💚 The jewelry in this shop will not be altered in style (e.g., clip-on earrings will not be converted to post earrings).
💚 For those who have never encountered "Vintage Jewelry" before, please think very carefully before making a purchase.
💚 If an item arrives damaged and is unwearable, a refund can be requested. However, returns or refunds will not be accepted for reasons such as "not as imagined," sizing issues, color discrepancies, or damage not caused during shipping.

**Brand Story:**
Louis Kramer founded Kramer Jewelry Creations in New York City in 1943. His brother later joined the company in an administrative capacity. Louis maintained artistic control over the design, manufacturing, and overall integrity of the final product. Kramer was one of the leading costume jewelry manufacturers of its time. They produced jewelry for women of various classes and at different price points, offering a wide array of designs from simple to luxurious. One thing he insisted on: regardless of price or design, the materials were of high quality. Pearls, silver plating, gold plating—all were executed with innovation and excellent craftsmanship.
In 1947, when Christian Dior launched his "New Look" in fashion, he selected Louis to create jewelry for him, and throughout the 1950s and 1960s, Louis created exquisitely designed pieces for Dior.
However, like many American costume jewelry companies, Louis found it increasingly difficult to compete with inexpensive imported products on the market, leading to the closure of Kramer Jewelry Creations in the late 1970s or early 1980s.
Kramer Jewelry Tips:
⚜️ Items marked with © were made after 1955.
⚜️ Early pieces feature smooth backs; the backs of pieces from the 1960s and 1970s are textured.
