Product Description

👹 'A Hundred Tales of Hong Kong Ghosts' Series 4️⃣ 👹 0️⃣ 1️⃣ 4️⃣ 👩‍👦 Sau Mau Ping Mud Mother and Child 👩‍👦 👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻 ✅ 1 Original Sticker ✅ 📐 Size: 48mm × 48mm 📐 🌟 Feature: Silver Laser Holographic Sticker 🌟 📩 Packaging: Comes in a clear plastic sleeve 📩 👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻 https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51740159719_aab89559ff_b.jpg WE ARE THE PIGS™’s inaugural project is 'A Hundred Tales of Hong Kong Ghosts' (referred to as 'Ghost Tales'). Hong Kong lyricist Lin Xi once said, "The existence of ghost stories is what makes Hong Kong precious." The emergence of local ghost legends often reflects the social conditions, customs, and unique historical background of the time, making them worthy of record and preservation. We hope to explore Hong Kong's century-long history, culture, and identity by compiling a hundred years of local folklore. 'Ghost Tales' uses 'shokugan' (snack toy) stickers as a medium to interpret Hong Kong's ghost stories. This type of sticker first appeared in Japanese snack packaging in 1977, typically measuring 4.8 x 4.8cm. They were commonly known as 'chocolate biscuit stickers', 'shokugan stickers', or 'biscuit stickers'. Influenced by Japanese pop culture in the 80s and 90s, these 'shokugan stickers' are a collective childhood memory for many Hongkongers. We have systematically compiled 100 ghost stories and combined them with shokugan stickers to create a new medium, visually documenting a 'Compendium of Yokai' belonging to Hong Kong. The project will release 100 shokugan stickers themed around Hong Kong ghost legends. For each story, we have created a unique yokai character and a brief introduction. The stickers feature special printing effects such as laser holographic finishes, gold foil, and silver foil to enhance the collectibility of 'A Hundred Tales of Hong Kong Ghosts'. The 'A Hundred Tales of Hong Kong Ghosts' sticker series compiles stories of a hundred local spirits, with original illustrations and text vividly bringing mysterious events to life. Series 4 features 'Sau Mau Ping Mud Mother and Child', 'Wah Fu Estate Faceless Ghost', and 'Yau Tong Reservoir Decapitated Ghost'. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51739754478_faf1bc6590_b.jpg
