Game Objective
To encourage players to observe scientific ink drawings and learn to identify plant species and their structures.
Game Mechanics
Matching scientific ink drawings with plant photographs.
Gameplay
Method 1
Players: 2 players in a duel or small group.
Step 1: Arrange all cards on the table in a 6x5 grid, with the fronts (light and dark green sides) facing up.
Step 2: Players take turns observing and trying to find a matching pair of an ink drawing and a plant photograph of the same species.
Step 3: Flip over the back of the card pair (grey side) to check the species name. If successfully matched, gain 1 point and take the pair.
Step 4: If the match is unsuccessful, return the cards to their original positions, face up. The next player attempts to match.
Winning Condition: The player with the most points wins.
Method 2
Players: 2 to 3 players in a duel.
Step 1: Divide the plant photograph cards (light green) and ink drawing cards (dark green) into two piles. Shuffle each pile face down (grey side).
Step 2: Each player draws 5 cards from each pile (face down).
Step 3: Players match identical species based on the plant photographs and ink drawings on the cards.
Step 4: Flip over the back of the cards to check the species name. If successfully matched, gain 1 point. The player with the most points wins the round. Since cards are randomly drawn from 15 species, it may not be possible to complete any matches.
Advanced Play: Players can propose trading similar cards (i.e., cards with the same border color) with opponents. If a match is successfully made after a trade, the player who proposed the trade gets 2 points, and the player who accepted the trade gets 1 point.
