**~ Design Concept ~** When we think of ocean dwellers, beyond the intelligent dolphins, waddling penguins, and majestic whales, the sea otter’s every move is brimming with an endearing charm that melts the heart. With every card purchase, you’ll receive a matching sticker from the same series. The card offers ample space for your personal message and the sticker can also be used to seal your envelope. **~ Design Background ~** (Licensed Product) The designer, Yen, is an independent visual designer from Taiwan currently residing in Canada. With a deep affection for the Vancouver Aquarium, she was inspired to create this aquarium series to contribute to their cause. The Vancouver Aquarium is a historic, privately-owned, non-profit institution. Unlike other aquariums focused on entertainment, this one emphasizes marine mammal rescue, ecological education, and ocean sustainability. Due to the pandemic, the aquarium had to close its doors for public health measures, leading to a significant funding shortfall without ticket revenue. This put them in a difficult position to care for the 70,000 aquatic lives within their care. Faced with the prospect of losing these animals, the aquarium had to consider permanent closure or launch fundraising efforts to ensure the survival of its inhabitants. Thus, the designer created the aquarium series, hoping to share her cherished and heartwarming memories of the aquarium through these artworks. A portion of the proceeds from this series will be donated to the aquarium as a collective expression of support. **~ Card Material ~**: Linen textured cardstock **~ Inside of Card ~**: The inside of the card is blank.
