In the early days of 1924, the founder, Ye A-Tian, established "Ye A-Tian Blacksmith Shop," producing "agricultural knives" using traditional hand-forging methods. The sickles, hoes, and pruning shears produced at the time were well-known and marked the very beginnings of Ye Tian knife manufacturing.
In 1980, the fourth generation took over and began producing household kitchen knives, extensively incorporating Japanese composite steel technology into their kitchen knives. The company then transitioned into an OEM factory for various brands, producing knives for all Taiwanese knife and scissor brands.
