The predecessor of ferm LIVING was a Danish graphic design agency founded in 2005 by Trine Andersen. For fun, Trine once visited a fortune-teller. She was surprised by the sight of a bird in the crystal ball who was hesitant to fly to. This bird touched Trine and made her firmer in her own entrepreneurial idea and founded Ferm, and the little bird became part of the ferm logo.
