Tie Clip

A Kintsugi tie clip, upcycled from Arita ware. We reuse cracked or chipped porcelain that would otherwise be discarded, apply Kintsugi, and transform it into accessories. The concept behind these pieces is to allow people to feel closer to nature and Japan's enduring traditions, creating modern accessories that connect to the future and foster new possibilities. Hardware: Tie clip (hardware cannot be changed) Weight: Although made from porcelain fragments, they are light and comfortable to wear. Each piece is a one-of-a-kind accessory, making it ideal for gifts. Please consider them as a special present for your loved ones. *As these are one-of-a-kind finished items, we cannot accept requests for hardware changes or future production. We also do not accept custom orders for different specifications using similar types of porcelain fragments. *We will send the item pictured. However, if it has already been sold on another site, it may be made to order. In such cases, please be aware that there may be individual differences in color, pattern, and size of the porcelain fragments and natural stones compared to the photos. *Kintsugi is a unique Japanese traditional repair method that mends broken or chipped ceramics using lacquer and gold powder. This work is created using a modern, simplified Kintsugi technique. Instead of traditional urushi lacquer, we use adhesive for bonding.
