Collection description
DYongrong (1743-1790 AD), the sixth son of Emperor Gaozong. Feng Zhizhuang Prince, calling himself the Master of Jiusi. He was good at poetry and prose, and could calligraphy and painting. He was a landscape artist close to Huang Jian, and he was able to create his own path. On both sides of the ravine, hills confront each other, and the old plum trees in the courtyard are blooming, adding to the scenery in winter. The mountain stones are folded and wrinkled with side strokes to show the stacking of layers of stones. Repeated use of dry brushes lying horizontally on the moss reveals a vast atmosphere. The sparse forest of dead trees and the flat-sloped pavilions are all influenced by Ni Zan's painting style.
