Began studying jade carving in Taipei in 1988. Studied Advertising Design in vocational high school in 1993, integrating design concepts into his work. Established his own studio in 1994. Received an honorable mention in the Craft category at the 14th Nan Ying Arts Exhibition in 2000 for his piece "Waiting for the Opportunity." Participated in a jade and stone exhibition at the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall in August. Invited to the Hualien International Art Festival in 2001 for live carving in the local creation zone. Selected for the "Craft Dream" award at the 10th Taiwan Craft Design Competition in 2002. Exhibited with Hsinchu County Cultural Bureau in January. Participated in a jade and stone exhibition in Changhua County's "Flower and Tree Carnival" in May. Invited to participate in the "Stone Grand View Garden" exhibition organized by Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Culture Foundation and Hualien Cultural Bureau, held in department stores across northern, central, and southern Taiwan from October to December. Invited by the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute to exhibit works such as "Lotus Ecological Charm" at the "Taitung Local Crafts Exhibition" in the Presidential Office in 2003. Featured in the National Education Radio's "Arts and Humanities Corridor - Xie Zhong-Ren Jade Stone Carving Exhibition" from March to June 2004. Selected for the "Craft Dream" award at the 12th Taiwan Craft Design Competition. Held a solo exhibition at the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall from October 2004 to January 2005. Invited by the National Taiwan Museum to exhibit his work "Taiwanese Snacks - Braised Pork Rice" in 2005. Participated in the "Faces of Sherlock Holmes Exhibition" with the National Museum of the Czech Republic from June to September. Established the "Yu Ning Shi" brand and opened a counter in department stores. Featured in the "Craft Master" exhibition at Pacific Sogo department store in mid-December. Invited to participate in the "Craftsmanship Up Close - Application of Living Crafts" exhibition organized by the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute in the Executive Yuan Gallery in 2007. His work "Japanese-Style Nigiri Sushi" was selected for the "Taiwan Craft Competition" organized by the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute in 2008. Received an honorable mention in the Traditional Craft category for his piece "Half-Thought" at the Ministry of Culture and National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute's "Taiwan Craft Competition" in 2012. Also received an honorable mention in the Craft category for his piece "Tranquil Mountain Landscape" at the 21st Tainan City "Nan Ying Award." Invited to exhibit in the "Cross-Strait Jade Carving Masters Gathering" at the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall in 2013, showcasing his work in the Taiwanese Jade Carving Masters section. Invited by the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute to exhibit three works – "Japanese-Style Nigiri Sushi," "Handmade Mochi," and "Leaping Moment" – at the Presidential Office Gallery's "Gathering Around the Hearth - Sustainable Craft Exhibition" in 2016. His piece "Lingering Lotus in Spring" received an honorable mention at the Taoyuan Arts Exhibition in 2017. Held his solo exhibition "Xie Zhong-Ren Jade Carving 30 Years: The Continuation of Culture" at the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall in 2018. Invited by the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute to exhibit his work "Auspicious Dragon Offering Blessings" at the Presidential Office Gallery's "Feast · Happiness" exhibition from January to June 2019. Participated in the "Joyful Heart, Brilliant Art - Taiwan Craft Development Association Boutique Exhibition," held jointly at the Hsinchu County Cultural Affairs Bureau (July 29 - August 16, 2020) and the Taipei Dangdai Contemporary Craft Design Branch of the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute (October 6, 2020 - February 28, 2021). His work "Japanese-Style Nigiri Sushi" was exhibited at the "Creative Regeneration Green Craft" exhibition hosted by the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute from October to November 2021. His piece "Handmade Mochi" was selected for the 2021 Taiwan Craft Competition and toured at the Taipei Dangdai Contemporary Craft Design Branch of the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute, as well as Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Xinyi Store, Xinyi Store, and Taichung Store. **Important Notes** ※ Product photos may exhibit color variations due to differences in screen displays.
