Vintage walnut wood barometer made by Lufft for L. Kern & Zoon, a shop in Amsterdam that was in business from 1830 till 1984.
Lufft was founded in 1881 in the Swabia region, southern Germany and up to 2012, produced highly-quality measuring devices and weather stations for domestic and commercial use. Today, Lufft produces mainly electronic measuring stations for recording and evaluating environmental data.
This barometer is in working order. It is in fairly good condition with some surface marks on the wood due to usage and oxidation on the metal due to aging. The photographs are a part of the description.
