We cherish the relaxed, natural texture that allows you to enjoy **‘aging’** rather than ‘deterioration.’ Because we use shuttle looms in Kurashiki that are over 100 years old, "weaving flaws" (織りキズ) inevitably occur, which may appear like “frays” at first glance. While this is unavoidable when using old machinery, we continue our efforts to avoid them as much as possible during thorough factory inspections and fabric cutting. If found, we use them in less conspicuous areas. However, because this is a characteristic of the machine, we cannot eliminate all of them. We kindly ask you to consider these weaving flaws as a mark and unique character created by the old shuttle loom.
