Founded in 1983 and designed and supervised by Gao Erpan Architects, the Taipei Fine Arts Museum is Taiwan's first modern and contemporary art museum. The building's "井"(well) shaped main structure is made of tubular cantilever structures stacked, and its high and low windows extend to become the distinctive image of the Taipei Fine Arts Museum.
