They are crafted with decorative elements, creating items that are classic, elegant, and charming. The body features a two-tone design, two different thread colors are used, and the stitch size varies by section... Even a single stitch incorporates a decorative element. The flap, finished with thick leather, opens and closes easily with a twist lock, lending a classic atmosphere. The flap is designed to avoid interference with the shoulder strap. All leather used is Italian leather. It is a smooth leather (Bulgaro & Tender) with a smooth texture and a firm feel. The colors are two-tone, a combination of cognac (brown tones) and black. There is a hanging pocket on the front interior. Please be cautious of color transfer, especially when new. Avoid wearing white clothing when first using the bag. ◾️ Scars and Vein Marks Scars and vein marks from the animal's life are left as they are on the surface and back. Because it is natural leather crafted to showcase its inherent qualities, each piece has a unique expression. ◾️ Color Variation Leather finished only with dyes, without pigments, is difficult to color-adjust, leading to inevitable color variations. There will be variations even within the same color. This is the natural, characteristic appearance of leather achieved through dye finishing. ◾️ Variation in Texture and Grain Grain refers to the pattern of wrinkles on the leather surface. Even on a single piece of leather, some areas may have more or fewer wrinkles. These differences are part of the charm of natural leather. ◾️ Numbers Indicating Leather Size, Proof of Italian Leather The numbers on the back are a mark of Italian leather, indicating the size of the hide. Each number is printed once per hide and signifies its dimensions. The lettering has a distinctive character, and it is printed on high-quality sections, so it is left as is. Therefore, it may occasionally appear on the product. Personally, I prefer items with these numbers. ◾️ Water Stains The leather can absorb water, which may result in stains. If it gets wet, wipe it off as soon as possible to prevent stains. Applying Lanapure Leather Treatment can provide water repellency. ◾️ Shagreen (Tora) This refers to the streaks and wrinkles that appear in areas of intense muscle movement and stretching. It is a special characteristic inherent to natural leather. It is by no means a precursor to cracking or splitting. ◾️ Luxurious All-Leather Construction Without Lining Typical leather products use thinly processed leather bonded with a core material for strength, and have an inner lining. However, unlike leather, linings often deteriorate first with use, becoming sticky or tattered. To ensure longevity, this bag is crafted using only thick, strong leather without a lining. ◾️ Maintenance The Italian leather used at LADIES&GENTLEMEN will develop a richer, more lustrous patina over time with oil-based maintenance. Apply oil to the bag approximately every 3 to 6 months. We recommend Lanapure, available in our online store. Lanapure is a leather treatment that conditions, adds shine, and provides water repellency. Small leather goods, which are handled frequently, will naturally develop a lustrous color without application. ◾️ Returns and Exchanges Please note that returns and exchanges are not possible unless there is a defect in the product. In the event of scratches or damage due to shipping accidents, or if you receive an incorrect item, we will exchange it at our expense. ◾️ Delivery Time As all items are made to order, please allow 2-3 weeks for small items and 3-4 weeks for bags.
