Fifty9 Design New York provides a one-year limited warranty on all products. The warranty content is subject to the terms and conditions of this product warranty description. Please read it carefully.
1. Product warranty description (one-year warranty)
<Warranty Scope>
Regional restrictions
The warranty only applies to the main island of Taiwan. If the product needs to be sent for repair or maintenance, the logistics and related costs will be borne by this brand; customers in other regions are required to bear the transportation and related costs.
For delivery and repair services to outlying islands and remote areas, you need to contact us in advance to confirm whether they are available, and additional shipping fees will be charged.
<Applicable conditions>
This product is only suitable for use in normal household indoor environments and does not include commercial or outdoor use.
The warranty only covers structural problems or abnormalities caused by material defects, including:
Solid wood part: problems such as cracking of panels, loose structure, and wood breakage.
Hardware accessories: Connectors, movable parts, etc. fall off or fail to function properly.
Padding part: The foam hardens, becomes brittle, and collapses due to quality problems.
<Warranty Period>
The warranty starts from the day after delivery, and free repair and parts replacement services are provided within one year.
If the product parts are replaced, the parts will still be calculated according to the original product warranty period and no additional warranty extension will be available.
<Not covered by warranty>
a. Natural phenomena
Color differences, knots, texture changes of natural materials such as solid wood and leather, and the natural aging phenomena that occur over time (such as changes in the gloss of solid wood and fading of leather and fabric).
b. Improper use
Damage caused by environmental factors (such as moisture, sunlight, high temperature) or human behavior (such as scratches, impacts, heavy pressure, liquid immersion).
c. Problems caused by disassembling, modifying or repairing the product by yourself.
Other conditions
d. The product is used in commercial space.
e. Damage caused by natural disasters or force majeure events.
2. Repair Service Description (Lifetime Warranty)
<Maintenance Request>
Please contact customer service and provide your order number, proof of purchase, and description of the problem, along with photos or videos of the damaged item.
After receiving the relevant information, we will determine whether repair is required based on the problem.
<Maintenance method>
Repairs can be divided into online guidance, home repairs or factory repairs.
The transportation, labor and material costs within the warranty period will be borne by this brand (limited to Taiwan); repairs beyond the warranty period will be charged based on actual conditions.
<Irreparable Processing>
If the structural problem of the product cannot be repaired and meets the warranty conditions, it will be replaced with the same product, and the warranty will be calculated based on the original product.
If a product is discontinued, it will be replaced with a product of the same grade.
<Not applicable>
Damage caused by improper use, human factors (such as scratches, stains, breakage) or commercial use.
Damage caused by pet scratching, liquid penetration or impact with foreign objects.
3. Return and Exchange Policy
<Return during the appreciation period>
Conditions:
Customers enjoy a 7-day appreciation period (calculated from the day after signing for the product, the appreciation period is not a trial period). The product must be in new condition, and all packaging, accessories and documents (such as instructions, invoices, etc.) must be intact.
Returned goods must be inspected on-site by the logistics department and confirmed by professionals to have no signs of use or damage before they can be returned.
<No return during the appreciation period>
Once assembled, the product is deemed used and no returns will be accepted unless the product is obviously defective.
Specially made products (such as customized size or design requirements) do not have the right to be returned during the appreciation period.
<Defective Exchange>
Definition of Defect
The product has obvious structural problems (e.g. wood cracking, components falling off).
The padding material collapsed severely and could not rebound, affecting normal use.
Accessories are damaged (such as hardware falling off).
<Procedure Description>
Requests for defective goods must be made within 7 days from the date of receipt, and photos or videos of the problem must be provided.
Once confirmed as a defective product, this brand is responsible for replacement and the relevant shipping costs will be borne by this brand.
Scope of non-product defects
The following situations do not fall under the category of product defects and are therefore not eligible for return, exchange or warranty repair services:
<Solid wood material>
Natural colour variations, grain differences, knots and wood spots are normal.
Color changes over time due to natural oxidation.
The slight expansion or contraction of wood due to changes in ambient humidity (such as small changes in the gap between panels).
<Leather Material>
Natural leather may have minor wrinkles, color variations, or changes in softness during use.
Changes in the sheen and natural marks of leather caused by normal use and friction.
<Fabrics and Upholstery>
Normal pilling of fabric materials.
The cushion foam deforms slightly due to normal use pressure and can rebound.
<Surface coating and processing details>
Tiny pinholes, processing marks or slight unevenness at the joints on the surface of solid wood furniture.
Slight differences caused by manual work are due to hand-crafting characteristics and not mechanical defects.
<Influence of Environmental Factors>
Differences in color appearance due to changes in lighting, such as color shift under natural light.
Normal wear and tear and signs of use on the furniture surface due to long-term use (non-functional damage).
<Shaking caused by uneven ground>
The slight shaking of the product due to the uneven ground after placement is due to environmental factors and is not a product defect.
It is recommended that customers check whether the furniture positioning location is stable after installation. If adjustment is necessary, furniture spacers can be used to assist.
4. Product Delivery Instructions
<Delivery Process>
Professional logistics companies are responsible for delivery, positioning and necessary assembly of goods. After assembly, the customer will inspect the goods and sign for them.
The logistics company will notify you of the estimated delivery time 1-2 days before delivery, but the exact time cannot be specified.
<Special Situation Handling>
If the goods need to be manually carried to the 2nd floor (inclusive) or above, or the elevator cannot be used for transportation due to elevator space limitations, an additional floor fee of $200 per floor will be charged for each item. Please note this in the order and customer service will contact you with payment methods before shipment.
Customers need to confirm the delivery environment (such as elevator size, stair width). If delivery is blocked, a return logistics fee will be charged.
<Delivery to commercial or remote areas>
Remote areas may incur additional freight charges per trip.
If the delivery location is a commercial area or building, please contact us in advance for confirmation.
5. Daily maintenance instructions
<Environmental Recommendations>
Avoid direct sunlight, high temperature or humid environment to prevent solid wood from cracking and deformation.
Maintain regular ventilation and avoid prolonged contact with moisture or humidity.
<Cleaning and Maintenance>
Use a soft dry cloth to wipe off the dust on the surface; if there are stains, wipe lightly with a neutral detergent and then wipe dry with a dry cloth.
You can use wood maintenance Wax or essential oil to maintain the surface every six months to increase gloss and durability.
Upholstery & Fabrics
<Daily Cleaning>
Use a vacuum cleaner or brush to gently remove dust from the surface and avoid scratching the surface with sharp objects.
If liquid is spilled, please use a dry cloth to absorb it. Do not rub it hard to avoid expanding the scope of the stain.
<Notes>
It is strictly forbidden to immerse in water or approach fire for a long time.
Leather furniture
<Cleaning and Maintenance>
Wipe the surface dust with a soft dry cloth, and stains can be treated with a neutral detergent.
Use leather care product to gently wipe the surface every 6 months to maintain softness and color.
Avoid injury
Do not use chemical cleaners or alcohol; avoid prolonged contact with sharp objects.

Fifty9 Design New York is a registered trademark in Taiwan authorized by Fifty9 Design New York Inc. (500 7th Ave FL8, New York, NY 10018) to Lexington Art Interior Decoration Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Lexington Art Interior Decoration Technology"). Lexington Art Interior Decoration Technology is responsible for the sales, after-sales service and legal liability of the brand products. All related services of Fifty9 Design New York products purchased by customers in Taiwan will be provided by Lexington Art Interior Decoration Technology in accordance with these terms and conditions, including but not limited to:
<Warranty and Repair Service>
Lexington Art Interior Technology assumes all responsibility for repairing or replacing products that meet the warranty conditions and provides lifetime warranty service for a reasonable fee.
<Return and Exchange and Appreciation Period Regulations>
The return and exchange procedures and services for products shall be implemented in accordance with these terms and the Taiwan Consumer Protection Act. Lexington Technologies reserves the right to review and confirm return or exchange requests.
<Product delivery and transportation services>
The product delivery, positioning and assembly services are all performed by professional logistics entrusted by Lexington Art Interior Decoration Technology. Lexington Art Interior Decoration Technology is also responsible for the liability for damages during transportation.
<Legal Liability>
If any legal or consumer disputes arise from the use of the products, Lexington Art Interior Decoration Technology will bear the relevant responsibilities in accordance with the law and handle them in accordance with Taiwanese laws.
