This Tanzanite bracelet features stones that shift subtly in color, from blue to violet, with every individual piece. This bracelet is crafted by stringing together Tanzanite chips. The hardware is made of gold-colored surgical stainless steel (316L medical grade), and it features a magnetic clasp. Each piece is hand-finished in a studio in Tokyo. The chips vary in shape from one to the next. Because they catch the light from many different angles, each bead sparkles as your hand moves. Tanzanite is exclusively found in the Merelani region of Tanzania, Africa, and its name is derived from that of the country. We hand-selected each stone from a specialty natural stone dealer, focusing on color and clarity. These are untreated, natural colors (unheated and unprocessed). Unlike standard round-bead bracelets, these naturally shaped stones follow the contour of your wrist. They offer a refined presence that is also perfect for layering. ◆ Tanzanite Stone Meaning ・The proud individual ・Noble ・Intellectual ・Cool-headed ・Hope Known as a stone that grants the courage to step forward into a new version of yourself. It is the birthstone for December. ◆ Stones that appear both blue and violet Tanzanite is a stone that changes color depending on the angle of view (pleochroism). Untreated Tanzanite is said to display three colors: blue, violet, and a slightly reddish hue. Because the chips are oriented in different directions, you will see a blend of blue and violet beads. ◆ How to enjoy your bracelet for years to come The Mohs hardness is approximately 6.5. Please be careful not to strike it against hard surfaces, as it has a tendency to break along certain planes (cleavage). Avoid sudden temperature changes. Keep it away from perfume, sunscreen, and detergents. Please remove it during bathing, exercising, or water-related work, and do not use ultrasonic cleaners. If layered with another bracelet that uses the same magnetic clasp, the clasps may stick together. If you wish to wear them independently, we can change the clasp to an adjuster or a spring ring.
