MU Cloud Series Brass / Long Necklace / Wide Bracelet / Earring

+ This collection by MU is a collaboration with our friend brand Kachua from Kobe, Japan, showcased in July 2019 in Kyoto. The theme is "蒼天ノ森" (Sōten no Mori), evoking a sense of walking through a forest adorned with clouds in spring and summer. Inspired by this, we've created three series of accessories in collaboration with Kachua's dreamy dyeing techniques. Within Kachua's naturally indigo-dyed and mineral-dyed fabrics, we found many elements of nature. Some featured layered gradients like a rainbow, others possessed a light, airy transparency like the wind, and some were scattered with irregular, overlapping layers akin to clouds. This inspired us to design complementary jewelry series. ▫️Cloud Irregularly shaped, flowing cloud-like pieces are cut, and MU's signature heat patina effect is applied to the brass surface, creating cloud-like variations in the metal. + Materials— Brass / Transparent anti-oxidation coating + Dimensions— + Purchase Notes— *Please purchase only if you understand and accept slight imperfections and variations in the heat patina process, reflecting the handmade nature of the piece. *Natural oxidation will occur over time with sterling silver, brass, and red copper. *This piece has a transparent anti-oxidation coating and does not require a silver/copper polishing cloth. *Silver components are made of 925 sterling silver. + Jewelry Care Recommendations— *Silver ● Wash with baking soda in clean water (not suitable for pieces with natural stones, pearls, or gemstones). ● For earring posts, use a silver polishing cloth. ● We do not recommend using silver cleaning solutions as they can be corrosive. ● If not worn for an extended period, store in a resealable bag to prevent air exposure. *Copper ● Use a copper polishing cloth for cleaning.
