Both perfume and body mist are oil-based, mixed with a medium to become fragrant liquids. Perfumes come in various concentrations, such as EDT and EDP, with fragrance oil concentrations typically ranging from 6-12%. They are suitable for spraying on the skin, where body heat helps the alcohol evaporate, releasing a captivating aroma that usually lasts 3-5 hours; Body mists generally have a fragrance oil content of 1-5% and a lasting power of about 1-2 hours. With a lower alcohol concentration, they are gentler on fabrics than perfumes, releasing a subtle scent over time for a natural aromatic effect.
