Crafted from Pinatex, a plant-based leather (Vegan leather) made from pineapple leaves, developed by Dr. Carmen of the Royal College of Art in the UK. This innovative material is created by extracting fibers from pineapple leaves and processing them through waxing and embossing, resulting in a texture that closely resembles genuine leather. It emphasizes a cruelty-free, low-carbon approach, replacing animal leather while revitalizing agricultural waste – pineapple leaves. The manufacturing process generates no toxic substances, and at the end of its lifecycle, the material is biodegradable, returning to nature and protecting our planet from the impacts of climate change for future generations. Spanish Pinatex pineapple leaf leather meets EU environmental standards and is biodegradable at the end of its product lifecycle. 2. The surface of the pineapple leaf leather is water-repellent. 3. Hand-stitched in Taiwan using durable waxed thread, unlike machine stitching that can unravel and is difficult to repair. 4. The pineapple leaf leather planner notebook is exceptionally light, weighing approximately 115 grams, and around 215 grams with the inner pages. 5. "Vegan Palette" offers a permanent repair service. 6. For stains on the leather surface, wipe with a clean, damp cloth and allow the leather to air dry completely. 7. The pineapple leaf leather can be maintained by applying baby oil. Apply the baby oil to a clean cloth before wiping the leather surface, rather than applying it directly to the leather.
