Story
Amarillo Story
The name "Amarillo" originates from the Spanish word for "yellow," likely inspired by the local soil color or the frequent use of yellow paint on early buildings. This shirt features a rich mustard yellow base, playfully adorned with a whimsical vintage bicycle print. The cyclists are depicted in a medieval color palette of lake blue, cherry red, ivory, and ink black, each figure leaving winding blue trails that symbolize speed and a yearning for the distance. Delicate landmark lines are interspersed throughout: pagoda silhouettes, ornate architectural facades, and abstract streamlines, lending the overall design an exotic and fairytale ambiance.
"At first glance, it’s just a regular short-sleeve button-up. But once you put it on, you’ll realize it’s made from the same fabric used in top-tier cycling jerseys. If you’ve never ridden a bike in a button-up, you’re missing out; on hot days, the extra ventilation more than makes up for any aerodynamic disadvantage (unless you’re racing), and being made of Lycra, it has a nicer drape than cotton or linen options.
It’s perfect for casual Fridays, allowing you to head straight to the bar in the sunshine after work without an awkward change in the restroom." — Cycling Tips
