About the Production Process:
Starting with a sketch, clay is shaped, then dried slightly and refined multiple times. We carefully fill the kiln with the right amount, a process that takes about a month. Bisque firing takes 7 hours. After removal, each piece is wiped with water, individually glazed, and then undergoes final firing for 12 hours. Some pieces receive a gold glaze and are fired again for 7 hours. Due to the need for slow cooling, we wait about 2 days after each firing before removing the items from the kiln. Finally, each piece is inspected, and pins are attached. Currently, our success rate is around 70%.
This process requires significant time and effort, but the result is a decorative brooch that combines the tactile feel of clay, the durability of pottery, the luster of glaze, and the sparkle of gold accents. We believe this is a piece that can be cherished for a long time, just as it is.
