The Beauty of Flowers series is created using different glaze effects to form contrasts between the inside and outside of the large bowl (Ōbachi) and the small bowl (Kobachi).
Each petal has its own unique glaze effect.
The imagery is this: no matter what happens outside, even if petals are stained with soil, they are still flowers. The value of life never diminishes.
