**【Origin】**
Macramé originated in the 13th century, initially used by Arab peoples to adorn clothing and shawls. With the advent of the Age of Exploration, it spread to Europe. Beyond its use in securing cargo on ships, sailors would create woven items during their leisure time, which they could sell or trade upon docking. Macramé reached its peak during the Victorian era, appearing in both home decor and at parties and balls.

Dimensions: (excluding wood) Approximately 30 cm in width, with a vertical drop of about 60 cm. Please note that slight variations of 2-3 cm are normal due to differences in individual tension.

**【Duration】**
3-3.5 hours, depending on individual pace. It's recommended not to schedule urgent matters immediately after the class.

**【Minimum Participants】**
**Taichung requires a minimum of 2 participants to form a class. Taipei, Hsinchu, and Tainan require a minimum of 3 participants.** You can also organize your own group for a private session. Please inquire before placing an order. We will notify you once a class is confirmed.
**If the minimum number of participants is not met, the design studio reserves the right to cancel the session and notify participants to reschedule or receive a refund.**

**By completing the registration and payment process, you confirm and agree to the following terms.**
**►Respect Originality: All course content and creations are for personal learning and self-use only. Please do not use them for commercial purposes!**
*Photography for personal records is permitted during the class, but **video recording is prohibited**.
*Due to limited seating, **please do not bring companions**.
►Cancellation and Refunds
*Cancellations made 15 days or more before the class date will receive a **full refund**.
*Cancellations made 10-14 days before the class date will receive a 70% refund.
*Cancellations made 7-10 days before the class date will receive a 30% refund.
*Cancellations made within 7 days of the class date are **non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled**. In such cases, VIVI will create the piece for you, and it will be shipped with complimentary delivery. You will still receive your unique, custom-colored handmade woven piece.
►Important Notes
*Limited spots are available. To protect the rights of registered participants, spots are secured on a first-come, first-served basis upon successful payment and confirmation.
*Please complete payment promptly after placing your order. **Orders will be automatically canceled without notice if payment is not received by 6:00 PM, 2 days before the class.** Ex: For a class on April 5th, payment must be completed by 6:00 PM on April 3rd.
*If the minimum number of participants (6 people) is not met three days prior to the scheduled start date, the design studio reserves the right to cancel or adjust the venue. Participants will be notified to **reschedule, change venue, or receive a refund**.
*To ensure a smooth experience, **late arrivals of 30 minutes or more will not be admitted and are non-refundable**. In such cases, VIVI will create the piece for you, and it will be shipped with complimentary delivery. You will still receive your unique, custom-colored handmade woven piece.
*As understanding and hand speed vary among individuals, it is recommended to **allow an additional 0.5 hours after the class and avoid scheduling urgent matters**.
►Other
*In case of natural disasters or force majeure events leading to class cancellation, the design studio will proactively contact participants for a full refund or rescheduling. For typhoons, class cancellations and refunds will be based on the official announcements of the event location, regardless of the participant's location.
*Workshop photography assistance is provided. Photos and videos, which may include your likeness, may be used for event records or promotional purposes for future recruitment. **If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform us before the class**, and we will make special arrangements.
*Please adhere to the venue rules and follow the instructor's guidance. You will be responsible for any damages caused by violations.
*If participation is terminated due to reasons not attributable to the design studio, **no refund will be issued**.
*In the event of material shortages, **we reserve the right to substitute materials of equal value or adjust colors**.
*Material colors may vary due to different production batches, lighting during photography, and computer monitor settings.
*To support environmental sustainability, **please bring your own reusable bag**.
**►The organizer reserves the right to adjust event details and has the final say on all matters related to this event.**
