The formula, weather, temperature, and humidity all influence the unique character of each cyanotype, resulting in subtle variations in hue and depth for every piece. ● The cyanotype color comes from a stable iron complex. It will not fade or smudge under normal use. If accidentally exposed to moisture, please wipe it dry promptly, as prolonged contact with water can alter the color. ● Avoid prolonged exposure of cyanotype artwork to strong direct sunlight, as this may cause the colors to lighten slightly. If this occurs, place the artwork in a shaded area for a period, and the colors should gradually return to their original vibrancy. ● The back of the bound notebook features a flexible design that allows it to lay flat. However, this process involves adhering the binding to the original cover crease.
